Hi there! Jenn here. Wanted to share some of my favorite hair bows that I think are the easiest ones to make. When you start learning how to make bows, you might want to consider these.
This bow is fairly easy to make and can also be used for a dog since it is small enough. It might just be one of the easiest hair bows to make because you don’t have to do anything much but make your ribbon pieces into circles and glue them down together. Then you can add an embellishment in the center. To really fancy it up, you can consider adding a second layer of ribbon as shown with the top layer here and you can even add tails for this bow. To finish it off, simply glue to a lined alligator clip or you can even sew a pony tail elastic on to the back of this hair bow. The photo above is a bow I made.
Here’s my vote for the second easiest hair bows to make. The photo above was sent to us from one of our happy customers, Andrea T., who shared her flower hair bows with us. These bows can be found in our How to Make Hair Bows course. Again, it is easy because you just need to make simple loops with your ribbon and then they are attached at the center. This hair bow is typically finished with a button sewn onto the center and placed on an alligator clip lined with green grosgrain ribbon so it looks like a stem for the flower.
If you haven’t made hair bows yet, you might want to check out these 2 styles to start with since I believe they are two of the easiest hair bows to make.
