How to Make Loopy Hair Bows

The video above shows how to make loopy hair bows step-by-step. This is one of the most fun and simple hair bows to make. They do use a lot of ribbon, but you can use a variety of ribbons in all types of widths, colors, and fabrics so it’s a great way to make a hairbow with a lot of your leftover ribbons. Loopy bows are made by creating loops with the ribbon and attaching the base of the loop to a clip like a French barrette. The bows really need to be made using that barrette type only because it is much to difficult (and too much ribbon) to put on a small clip like an alligator clip. I also like the loopy bows because you can have fun creating them and you don’t have to be perfect! You also don’t need a whole lot of supplies which is always nice when you are starting out with any new hobby such as bow making. If you want to start making hair bows, this is one bow I suggest you try out first. I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun creating this! I used to wear loopy bows as a kid and I just loved how fun they were with all the ribbons of different colors because I would wear it with almost any outfit. It’s nice to make bows that can be used with multiple kid’s outfits. Be sure to follow the instructions in the video and learn how to make a loopy hair bow.

I have always wanted to make these bows but thought it might be to hard. My Mather in law told me to use wire. I tried once and it was way to hard for me. Thanks so much for the video and the ideas.
